Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a rear form of depression which appears in the rear region of globe at the same time each year in which person feel depressed, low energized and unexplained fatigues. In some area of earth, where sun is hard to appear during day time, for most of the time in a year, due to which that particular area people suffered from such Seasonal Affective Disorder Seasonal affective disorder is probable occurs due to triggered brain response to decreased daylight exposure. It all happens because Human brain is Photo sensitive and sunlight plays key role in the production of key chemicals. The decrease in the sunlight, creates disorder in the brain chemical and generate Seasonal affective disorder in the body. Its symptoms begin to appear in the starting winter and go away with beginning of sunnier days of summer and spring and such symptoms are termed as Winter Depression whereas In some cases, it symptoms starts begin in spring or summer and over in winter beginning and such type of symptoms is known as Summer Depression. But, In both cases symptoms may start out mild and become more severe as the season progresses. Symptoms of winter seasonal affective disorder are Depression, Hopelessness, anxiety, Loss of energy, weight gain, Difficulty concentrating etc and the Summer Seasonal affective disorder consists of Anxiety, weight loss and Irritability. When spring returns and days become longer again, people with SAD experience relief from their symptoms, returning to their usual mood and energy level. Light Therapy is the key for the cure of Seasonal Affective Disorder. In light therapy, Patient sit or work near a device called a light therapy box and that box gives off bright light that which is similar to natural outdoor light. Light therapy is thought to affect brain chemicals linked to mood, easing SAD symptoms. Light therapy is also known as Bright Light Therapy or Phototherapy. Sad Light devices are the most effective way to relieve Seasonal Affective Disorder. It caused light activity in the brain through the ear canal because ear canal is a more effective route to deliver light to the brain than the eye. It looks like a MP3 player or I-POD with headphones made of optical fibre, which has light bulbs inside. Using Sad Light Devices like Valkee preferably 30-60 Minutes a day, can remove the SAD effect from the body. It is the effective way to take back your body in a normal mood. |
