In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—removes a pilar cyst from a patient’s scalp—only to find two more buried underneath. The clip of the clustered pilar cysts have fans scratching their heads, asking, Is this even normal?
The jury is still out on that one.
In the silent clip, Dr. Lee pops a pilar cysts, forcing out a long worm of contents. She then goes in to remove the cyst’s sac wall, an essential portion of the procedure to make sure the growth doesn’t come back. As she pulls out the cyst’s sac wall, Dr. Lee discovers a hidden gem: a grcluster of two more pilar cysts buried beneath the first. They actually come out cleanly and together, both will sac walls intact.
“Yoooo the end was crazy,” one fan commented on the clip. And the end was, indeed, crazy.
