Do you want to lose weight but just can not take it off or keep it off. Why not? What are you doing that you should not be doing. The first thing that comes to our minds is that you are a victim of the sugar monster. Yes that monster is everywhere and in almost every processed food that you eat.

If you want to succeed with a weight loss program you don’t have far to look for assistance. The sugar monster is lurking everywhere with calories in every bit of added sugar that you ingest. Before you try one of the extreme diets that are advertised on the radio, on television and in the newspaper, wage war on the sugar monster.

This will not be easy because the sugar monster has quietly become part of the American lifestyle. For example the American Heart Association has proposed specific guideline for sugar consumption, Most women should not consume more than 25 grams of added sugars a day, most men no more than 37.5 grams a day. It is so easy to exceed these limits. For example an 8 ounce glass of cola has 22 grams of added sugar. A glazed doughnut has 14 grams and a typical granola bar 12 grams.

The calories quickly add up. You don’t need a crash diet. You need to crash the sugar monster!!
