How late is too late to become a father? The actor Stanley Tucci explores this question in his reading of Rand Richards Cooper’s essay, “Fatherhood, I Now Learn, Is a Young Man’s Game.

Mr. Cooper, whose essay was published in Modern Love in 2006, is a novelist, fiction writer and essayist living in Hartford, Conn. He is the author of “The Last to Go” and “Big as Life.”

Mr. Tucci is an Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor. He appears in “A Private War,” which is in theaters now. Stay tuned after the reading to hear from him, Mr. Cooper and the Modern Love editor Daniel Jones.
