Survivor: Island of the Idols has been a season full of ups and downs, and each episode was chock-full of action. From Missy’s strong entrance onto the show and her eventual downfall, to blindsides galore and Boston Rob and Sandra’s return, Island of the Idols was a strong showing among Survivor‘s previous 38 seasons.
But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and as the season winds down, viewers have one key question—when is the Island of the Idols finale?
The Survivor: Island of the Idols finale is on Wednesday, December 18.
Island of the Idols will conclude with a two-hour finale on December 18 at 8 p.m. EST, and the reunion special will air right after at 10 p.m.
Before the season started, Jeff Probst pointed to Molly, Lauren, Missy, Tommy, Elizabeth, and Elaine as the players that were mostly likely to succeed.
Lauren, Tommy, and Elaine are currently the three players left out of Probst’s picks, and they’re all in pretty good standing heading into the finale. Probst told Entertainment Weekly that Lauren “is a nanny who is I think going to surprise a lot of people because she has beautiful radiant energy, and you spend enough time talking to her and you realize, ‘Oh my God, she’s a stone-cold killer in this game.'”
As for Tommy, “He was bullied as a kid and he was unpopular and people picked on him. And part of the reason that he became a teacher is now he’s this tall, good-looking, very charming guy, and he wants to help young people during this phase of his life…Very likable guy,” Probst said.
Just one more week until we see who was able to outwit, outplay, and outlast all the rest!
